In Vladivostok, a pickup truck with an anti-aircraft machine gun was spotted in Putin’s motorcade

The pickup truck was spotted as part of the motorcade of Russian President Vladimir Putin in Vladivostok. Telegram channels drew attention to it.

When disembarking from the plane in Vladivostok, Putin also used a gangway with an arch-shaped barrier. The publication “Sibir.Realii” writes that such a gangway was used for the first time on August 31 in Bishkek, and it was not there during trips around Russia in early August.

Amid the approach of the State Duma elections, Putin has begun to travel regularly to cities across Russia. From the end of 2025 until the beginning of summer, he did not go anywhere except Moscow, St. Petersburg, and his residence on Valdai.

On July 1, Putin increased the staff of the central office of the FSO — the Federal Protective Service, which handles his security. This was already the fourth time since the start of the war.
