Most.Media is an independent international media and cultural platform

Our mission is to create space for public dialogue that is open, fair and humane.

The project emerged in exile, in response to the dismantling of independent public space in Russia. Today, it speaks to an international audience, publishing in Russian, English, French, German and Spanish. Its aim is simple but urgent: to ensure that conversations about conflict, democracy, human rights and our shared future can cross borders, languages and communities.

Authoritarianism thrives on division. It erodes trust, strips societies of a shared language, turns neighbours into strangers and erects barriers between people, ideas and cultures.

Most.Media exists to counter that logic — to reconnect what others seek to pull apart.

Most.Media is open to anyone committed to human dignity. It does not align itself with a single ideology or identity. Instead, it focuses on voices too often marginalised or silenced: women, LGBTQ+ people, political prisoners and their families, independent writers, artists, researchers, and those facing discrimination, violence or political repression.

Most.Media is more than a media outlet. It encompasses journalism, publishing and artistic projects, international partnerships and public campaigns — all driven by a single purpose: to ensure that important stories are not lost alongside those whose power seeks to silence.
