In Tyumen, a rally for fair elections was not approved

ASTRA reported this. According to the organizer of the action, Kristina Nekrasova, after submitting a notice about the rally, a response came from the Tyumen city administration, but it did not contain a direct decision to approve or deny it.

Later, a district police officer came to Nekrasova and said that the rally scheduled for October 10 had not been approved. He also asked her to sign a warning about liability for holding an unauthorized event.

Nekrasova suggested that the refusal could have been related to a technical error in the documents: the attachment to the notice listed dates that did not match the date of the rally. After that, she decided not to submit a new notice.

She also urged those who were planning to come to the action not to take part in it, so as not to expose themselves to the risk of being held liable. Earlier, applications for rallies against election fraud were submitted in Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Perm, Izhevsk, Kazan, Syktyvkar, Ulan-Ude, Yekaterinburg, Krasnodar, and Lipetsk, and in Saint Petersburg, Perm, and Kazan the actions were not approved.
