Ilya Traber Becomes a Founder of «Primorsky Universal Terminal» Again

According to Rusprofile, Traber is now listed as a founder of five organizations: “Räst”, “Ecological Fleet”, “Satur”, “Primorsk Invest”, and “Primorsky Universal Terminal”.

LLC “Primorsky Universal Terminal” was registered in August 2024 in the Vyborg District of the Leningrad Region and is engaged in engineering surveys and design. Forbes wrote that at the end of last year the company had zero revenue and a loss of 46 million rubles.

Traber was detained on June 17 in St. Petersburg and taken to Moscow in connection with the murder of Vyborg District deputy of the Leningrad Region Alexander Petrov, committed in 2020. The Basmanny Court arrested the businessman on charges of murder committed by an organized group and illegal arms trafficking.

At the end of August, it became known that Traber had been released from pretrial detention due to a sharp deterioration in health. On August 31, lawyer Igor Sochiyants said that the criminal case had been fully closed and the murder charges had been dropped, while Fontanka wrote that the investigation had established Traber’s complete non-involvement in the crime.

Traber is called an acquaintance of Vladimir Putin: Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed the acquaintance, emphasizing that the relationship was of a working nature. The Insider wrote that Traber was an honorary guest at Putin’s birthday celebrations in 2004 and 2016, and the Spanish prosecutor’s office called him one of the leaders of the Tambov organized crime group.
