Drones damaged homes in Kaluga and the Medynsky District

On the night of October 3, drones damaged several apartment buildings and private homes in Kaluga and the Medynsky District of Kaluga Oblast. Governor Vladislav Shapsha said that several people sustained minor shrapnel injuries, but no one required hospitalization.
As reported by The Moscow Times, eyewitness videos analyzed by ASTRA show shattered windows and damaged balconies in several residential buildings.
According to ASTRA’s analysis, one of the buildings is located at 3-y Akademichesky Proezd, 1. Other footage shows damage to a building on Minskaya Street, 26.
Local Telegram channels also published video showing damage to another new building on Minskaya, 27. It is not yet visible on satellite images and panoramas.
Shapsha said that a private house was also damaged in the Medynsky District. According to him, 14 drones were destroyed overnight over Kaluga Oblast.
The Defense Ministry press service said that on the night of October 3, 218 Ukrainian drones were intercepted and destroyed over Russia. According to the ministry, the drones were shot down over Astrakhan, Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Kaluga, Kursk, and Oryol oblasts, as well as over Rostov, Ryazan, Smolensk, and Tula oblasts, the Moscow region, Krasnodar Krai, occupied Crimea, and the Azov and Black seas.
