«Widow’s Bay» became the leader by number of awards at the «Emmy» in Los Angeles

The best drama series was “The Pitt”, and Noah Wyle, who played the lead role in this series, received an “Emmy” as the best drama series actor. Rhea Seehorn received the award for best actress in a drama series for her work in “Pluribus”.

The best actress in a comedy series was Jean Smart for her role in “Hacks”. Matthew Rhys received two acting awards — for roles in “Widow’s Bay” and the miniseries “Monster Inside Me”; CNN notes that this is the first such case in the history of the award.

The “Emmy” ceremony is divided into two parts: first, the winners in the so-called offscreen categories are announced, including sound, editing, costume design, sound engineering, and cinematography. The winners in the acting and directing categories, as well as the recipients of awards for the best comedy and drama series, are announced separately.

Taking into account the awards in the offscreen categories, “Widow’s Bay” now has 14 “Emmy” statuettes.
