Tusk said that Poland prevented a threat to one of the border crossings with Ukraine

Tusk said that on the night of September 10, Poland prevented a threat to one of the border crossings with Ukraine. According to him, this was made possible thanks to cooperation with Ukraine, but the prime minister did not specify what exactly the “immediate threat” was.

The Polish prime minister said that Russia, in his words, has already resorted to “provocative attacks” on border crossings, including in Moldova. He added that he expects similar actions against crossings with Ukraine and in other countries, including Poland.

Tusk also said that he received a “fairly accurate report” from the CIA about possible events in the coming months. According to him, Poland and all of Europe must be ready for different scenarios, related not only to the situation on the Russian-Ukrainian front, but also to the situation along the EU’s eastern flank.

Russia did not comment on Tusk’s statements.
