Stroytransgaz announces tender for marble finishing of the opera and ballet theater in Sevastopol for 565.4 million rubles
Private draft
“Stroytransgaz” announced a competition on September 28 for the marble finishing of the opera and ballet theater under construction in Sevastopol. The initial contract price is 565,366,762 rubles including VAT, and the work must be completed by February 28, 2027.
The bill of quantities specifies a total marble finishing area of about 20,000 m². Approximately 12,500 m² are for interior spaces, and another about 7,500 are for exterior work, including entrance groups, terraces, stairs, and the amphitheater.
The documentation explicitly names “Natural marble Kartal White (Turkey, Supplier LLC ”Alver“)”. For floors, walls, and other elements, slabs of different formats and thicknesses are provided — from 10 to 50 mm, and for exterior work Kartal White of Turkish manufacture is also specified.
Photos of a marble sample are attached to the tender. The customer requires white stone with slight light-gray or silvery veining, without contrasting green, blue, or brown inclusions.
The material requirements also specify frost resistance of at least F100, water absorption of 0.18%, and a surface that must prevent slipping. According to The Insider, 565.4 million rubles is the initial cost of the entire marble works package, including materials, delivery, installation, and related work, rather than the price of the stone alone or the amount of the contract directly with “Alver”.
The Insider also writes that LLC “Alver” is part of the ISAKIDIS business group, which specializes in natural stone. This group previously finished the Palace of Independence of Alexander Lukashenko in Minsk with marble and granite.
The winner of the competition has not yet been determined.
