The Second Western District Military Court sentenced 19-year-old RSHU student Dmitry Bokov to 19 years in prison. The sentence was reported by Ostorozhno, Novosti and Msk1, citing the defendant’s relatives.
Bokov was found guilty under articles on undergoing training for the purpose of carrying out terrorist activity (Article 205.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), preparing to join a terrorist organization (Article 205.5), illegal weapons trafficking (Article 222), and preparing a terrorist attack (Article 205).
Bokov was detained in October 2025. At first, he was accused of trying to join the banned in Russia far-right movement White Power, and later — of preparing a terrorist attack at a mosque and illegally storing ammunition.
According to Ostorozhno, Novosti, the investigation considered a theoretical lesson on the design of weapons at the Patriot park, self-defense classes in the patriotic project Chistota, and several driving lessons at a Moscow college to be training for terrorism.
Bokov’s relatives claimed that the charges were based on a smartphone seized during a search, which did not belong to the student. Bokov’s father told Msk1 that his son did not give the security forces the phone password, after which he was struck several times with a stun gun on the leg and wires from a field telephone were wrapped around his hands.
Relatives also said that the security forces asked them not to talk about the torture in court and promised to place the young man under house arrest. Before the trial, Bokov spent all his time in pretrial detention.
