School protest actions in France began at the end of September. They were organized by the student union — the High School Students’ Union.
The protesters are demanding solutions to systemic problems in educational institutions. Among their complaints are a shortage of teachers and medical staff, overloaded schedules, overcrowded classrooms, and uncomfortable temperatures. On October 5, Édouard Geffray said that 190 schoolchildren were injured during the actions.
