Kaspersky Lab transfers foreign subsidiaries to Dubai-based Investikas Holding

Private draft

Kaspersky Lab is transferring its foreign subsidiaries to Dubai-based Investikas Holding. Three foreign legal entities of the group have already come under the control of the new structure, according to Swiss and Czech registries and confirmation from a company representative.

According to the Swiss trade bulletin for June 2025 and the Czech commercial register for July 2026, at least three foreign companies of the group have come under the control of Dubai-based Investikas Holding Limited, registered in summer 2025 in the Meydan free zone. In Switzerland, Investikas Holding Limited was listed as the owner of Kaspersky Lab Switzerland instead of London-based Kaspersky Labs Limited, and in the Czech Republic the British company was removed from the participants of Kaspersky Lab Czech Republic and the Dubai structure with a 100% stake was added.

In France, Kaspersky Lab France was converted into a SASU — a single-shareholder company — in August 2026; this follows from a publication in BODACC dated August 31, 2026. A representative of Kaspersky Lab confirmed that the sole shareholder of the French company is also Investikas Holding Limited.

The company says it is moving from a vertically integrated holding structure to a geographically diversified one, and the subsidiaries previously registered to Kaspersky Labs Limited will be redistributed under the new scheme. Before the restructuring began, ownership of 37 subsidiaries in 32 countries had been established through the British Kaspersky Labs Limited, including Germany, France, Switzerland, Spain, Italy, Portugal, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Romania, Turkey, the United States, Mexico, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Japan, China, Hong Kong, India, Singapore, Australia, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Israel, and Kazakhstan.

At the same time, in Russia in March 2026, LLC Investikas was registered, with its main business activity listed as holding company activities. The founders are listed as Evgeny Kaspersky with a 92% stake and Vadim Bogdanov with an 8% stake; according to a company representative, the Dubai-based Investikas Holding and the Russian LLC Investikas have the same ultimate beneficial owners.

The U.S. Department of Commerce added British Kaspersky Labs Limited to the Entity List in June 2024, restricting the transfer of U.S. equipment and technologies to it and citing cooperation with Russian military and intelligence agencies; the company is not under any other sanctions. In October 2024, Kaspersky Lab announced it was winding down the activities of its UK office and shifting its business in the country to a partner channel, and in June 2025 the company prevented the launch of the forced liquidation process for Kaspersky Labs Limited. A company representative insists that the current reorganization is not connected to this decision and says that Kaspersky Labs Limited will continue operating as long as there is a business need, after which it will be liquidated.

For 2025, Kaspersky Lab's global revenue amounted to $836 million, up 4% from the previous year; sales to corporate clients grew by 16%, while the consumer segment declined by 3%. The company's workforce exceeds 5,500 employees.
