On the night of September 15, Ukrainian drones and missiles attacked Taganrog and the Samara Region. In Taganrog, the Ozon warehouse, residential buildings, shops, and administrative buildings were damaged; in the Samara Region, one of the industrial enterprises was damaged; according to the governors, no one was injured.
At night on September 15, according to the governor of Rostov Region, Yuri Slyusar, Taganrog was attacked by drones and missiles. In the city, the Ozon marketplace warehouse, several residential buildings, shops, and administrative buildings were damaged.
Slyusar said that no one was injured. Ozon said that in Taganrog, a delivery hub of a logistics partner was evacuated because of the missile threat.
The company claims that sellers’ goods in this hub had “never been accepted”, and the facility itself carried out other operations. According to the Ukrainian monitoring project Exilenova+, one of the strike targets was the Taganrog Aviation Scientific and Technical Complex named after G. M. Beriev, where military aircraft are repaired and modernized.
In the Samara Region, drones also attacked at night, said Governor Vyacheslav Fedorishchev. According to him, one of the industrial enterprises was damaged, but he did not provide details.
Astra and Ukrainian monitoring channels write that this refers to the Syzran Refinery, which belongs to Rosneft. On September 14, U.S. President Donald Trump said that Ukraine had agreed not to strike Russian energy infrastructure facilities, and Russia had supposedly agreed to do the same.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed his readiness for such a deal, but expressed doubt that Moscow would go for it. Sources at the British Financial Times said that Trump had “rushed” the announcement of an energy truce.
