In a Telegram post, “Agentstvo” says that Borodin linked his demand to a report about the flights of Katerina Tikhonova. In his version, publishing such data supposedly indicates a “direct connection” between the publication and Western intelligence services. He also claims that the information could have appeared only as a result of “cyberattacks, hacks, and technical espionage”, and calls “Agentstvo” a participant in “hybrid attacks” against Russia.
On Friday, the publication released two stories: in one, it named Vladimir Putin’s granddaughter — Elza. In the other, it reported that on November 11, 2019, Elza Tikhonova, together with her mother Katerina Tikhonova and her father, ballet master Igor Zelensky, flew to Munich on an Air Hamburg business jet and returned two months later. On that trip, the family was accompanied by four nannies — Anna Taban’kova, Natalya Snytko, Natalya Letnikova, and Lyudmila Arkhitskaya, English teacher Yulia Zhirnova, French and Arabic teacher Mohammed Benkhelifa, Tikhonova’s likely assistant Natalya Bratan, FSO officer Artem Kuts, and Svetlana Skripak.
The publication says that these data are part of “Proekt”’s investigation “Travel Companions”, which is scheduled to be released in full this week. According to “Agentstvo”, the investigation is based on an analysis of a leaked database from the Federal Border Service, which makes it possible to determine where, with whom, and on which planes Russian officials and people connected to them flew.
There, too, “Agentstvo” notes that the brand appeared in September 2021, when the “Proekt” team changed its name after the publication was declared an undesirable organization. In its current concept, “Agentstvo” has been operating since March 2022.
