Bailiffs seized 115.5 thousand rubles from the organizer of Kanye West’s concerts in Russia

The seizure of funds against Say Agency, according to the database of enforcement proceedings, amounted to 115.5 thousand rubles, according to a publication by RBC. The writ of execution in this case was issued by the Oktyabrsky District Court of Samara.

According to court materials, a lawsuit for consumer rights protection was filed against the company under a services contract. The plaintiff turned specifically to Say Agency, which acted as the organizer of the announced concerts of American rapper Kanye West in Russia.

In August, Say Agency announced that the performances were to take place on October 10 and 11 in Saint Petersburg at Gazprom Arena. Tickets priced at up to 160 thousand rubles also went on sale then.

About a week later, representatives of the venue said that the lease agreement with the organizer had not been concluded. Against this backdrop, the seizure of funds was formalized as part of enforcement proceedings related to a consumer dispute over the concerts.
