Private draft

In France, actress Marina Vlady died at the age of 88, AFP reported.

Marina Vlady was born in 1938 near Paris into the family of Russian émigré Vladimir Polyakov-Baidarov. She first appeared in film at the age of 11.

Later, Vlady acted in numerous Italian films. Together with Italian actor Marcello Mastroianni, she played the lead roles in the films “Black Feathers” (1952) and “Days of Love” (1954).

In 1963, Vlady received the Cannes Film Festival award for Best Actress for the film “The Modern Story, or Queen of Bees”.

Marina Vlady’s first husband was French director Robert Hossein, and her second was aviator Jean-Claude Brouillet. In 1967, she came to the USSR for the Moscow International Film Festival, where she met Vladimir Vysotsky, and in 1970 she married him and became his last wife.

After Vysotsky’s death, Marina Vlady married for the fourth time — to French oncologist Leon Schwartzenberg.
