Russia and Ukraine reported the completion of the mission in Oleshky. At the same time, volunteer Ksenia Arkhipova said that not everyone was able to evacuate, and said that she has been helping the city’s residents since 2022.

Dmitry Lubinets reported at 12:35 that the Ukrainian delegation had arrived in Oleshky, and Yana Lantratova published a video from the city at 13:15.

According to the ombudsmen, 25 buses were prepared for evacuation with at least 750 seats, another 30 places were provided for bedridden people, and 9 ambulances and more than 50 doctors and paramedics were included in the convoy. Another bus was set to transport pets.

Around 16:00 MSK, the channel “From Mariupol to the Carpathians” reported that the convoy with evacuees had begun moving out of Oleshky. Around 17:30, Lantratova wrote that the convoys with evacuees to Russia and Ukraine had split up.

Lantratova also said that the convoy with those who chose evacuation to Russia was heading to a temporary accommodation center. The leader of the “Servant of the People” faction in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine said that the convoy with evacuees to Ukraine had gone to Anapa. Later, Lantratova published a video with a family of seven children and a puppy and said that they had so far agreed to leave for Skadovsk in Kherson region.

Lubinets said that people who did not want to leave remained in the city, and humanitarian aid was delivered to them. Arkhipova told “Agency” that not everyone was able to evacuate: according to her, the roads had not been demined, people from the suburbs were not allowed through to the assembly point because of checkpoints, and some less mobile residents were not taken from their homes, although they had been promised they would be.

According to Arkhipova, residents of nearby villages were initially unable to get into Oleshky and returned home after they were not allowed through. She said that this referred to settlements in the Oleshky united territorial community, where, by her estimate, about six thousand people live.
