Private draft
Volgodonsk resident Alexey Yezhov, who returned from the war, according to “Bloknot”, moved in with a woman to whom he had tried to sell a dacha, demanded money from her 11-year-old son and, according to the homeowner, handcuffed her. On October 27, the Volgodonsk District Court accepted for consideration a civil case in which Yezhov is the plaintiff, and the defendant parties are listed as the apartment owner and the man who helped her with the deal.
As follows from an ASTRA publication, at first Yezhov told journalists that after being wounded at the front he became the victim of a scam while trying to sell a dacha to a local woman. According to his version, he was deceived and personal belongings were stolen from him, and he himself spoke about this on video.
Later, a woman contacted the publication, and according to her, Yezhov had drawn up a general power of attorney in order to sell the dacha. She claims that he lived at the dacha under the pretext of repairs, and then asked to stay in her apartment on the condition that he pay utility bills.
According to the woman, over five months he paid nothing, and the utility debts fell on her. When the documents were being prepared, according to her version, it turned out that the dacha was under arrest, and her acquaintance paid off the debt to complete the deal.
She stated that Yezhov then began exerting pressure on her 11-year-old son, demanding money and purchases from him. After that, according to her, he began using violence against her, handcuffed her and beat her.
The woman also said that she was able to report what was happening and call the police only after ending up in the hospital. According to her, Yezhov kept grenades and other ammunition at home and threatened to use them if law enforcement got involved; in addition, she claims that she cannot get into her own apartment because the keys remained with him, and the police are not accepting her reports.
An acquaintance of the woman who helped finalize the deal claims that Yezhov promised to scalp him. According to “Bloknot”, in 2021 Yezhov was sentenced to six years under articles on robbery and kidnapping.
