On November 2, an interview with blogger Andrey Grigoryev-Apollonov was released on Ksenia Sobchak’s YouTube channel, and part of the conversation was devoted to Angelina Goloshchapova, as “Important Stories” writes. The conversation took place in a Paris restaurant, and Goloshchapova said that every year she returns with her family to a historic mansion in Italy and spends the whole summer there.
During the conversation, Sobchak drew attention to a vintage Chanel jacket, which she herself estimated at about 10,000 euros, and asked where Goloshchapova gets the money for such a life. Goloshchapova replied: “all together”, presumably referring to her business and the family’s income, and when asked about her loved ones, she said: “I have two children, everything else is taboo”.
Goloshchapova heads the press service of the Agency for the Management and Use of Historical and Cultural Monuments, which reports to the Ministry of Culture, and in the interview she said that she has been on maternity leave for more than three years. She also owns the jewelry brand Flawless, but according to her, this business does not bring in serious income.
Sobchak asked her whether it was true that Goloshchapova’s current husband is a “very serious man” who “works with the government” and knows influential people in the country. Goloshchapova replied: “In general, that’s true”, but did not name her companion.
According to “Important Stories”, several signs point to this man, and it is most likely Yevgeny Novitsky, the former president of AFK Sistema. Novitsky was born in 1957 in the Tomsk region, graduated from Bauman Moscow State Technical University, and from 1995 to 2005 worked at AFK Sistema, where he was a minority shareholder.
The description of Villa Torre Paola says that it is a mansion in the commune of Sabaudia in the Lazio region, between the Tyrrhenian Sea and Lake Paola. The villa was built in the 12th century on the site of a Roman settlement and rebuilt in the 18th century; it has 14 bedrooms.
Since June 2022, Novitsky has been under sanctions from the United States, Canada, Switzerland, the EU, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, and Japan. In June 2024, he was detained at his home in a case involving the embezzlement of pension fund assets, and the court placed him under house arrest. Investigators estimate the damage at 8.9 billion rubles, and all six funds involved lost their licenses and went bankrupt.
